After a day cut off from news, I returned home at 4;10 to find this note from our relatively new neighbor, Rani Parker (N. Prospect).
On May 3, 2022, at 2:35 PM, Rani Parker wrote:
“I can’t find anything in Amherst, so I plan to be outside Town Hall at 5 p.m. today–hopefully not by myself. As you’ve probably read, there are planned demonstrations all over the country at 5 p.m. today. It would be great if the Town Council could put out a declaration or something today affirming the town’s commitment to women’s right to our bodies. If even one member could be there and speak about this, it would be great.”
